Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine, also called botanical medicine or phyto-medicine, makes use of plant's seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes... Long practiced outside of conventional medicine, herbal medicine is becoming more main stream in terms of their value in the treatment and prevention of disease. Plant medicines are filling a need left unprovided for in modern health care – they are safer, more accessible, and most of all they allow everyone to take charge of their own health.

Recently, the World Health Organization estimated that 80% of people worldwide rely on herbal medicines for some aspect of their primary healthcare. In Germany, roughly 600 to 700 plant-based medicines are available and are prescribed by approximately 70% of German physicians.

Anjalie’s goals, while prescribing herbal remedies for her patients, are often more broad than stopping a single complaint. She aims to correct imbalances, resolve patterns of dysfunction, and treat the underlying cause of your complaint. Specific symptoms may also be treated if necessary. Anjalie, believes that the body is continually striving for balance and that natural therapies can be used to support this process.

Nutritional Plan
Health is as strong as its weakest link and in many cases it could be below optimum nutritional conditions. Sub-optimal nutrition causes difficulties for bodily functions. Anjalie’s Nutritional Plan aims to provide the cells and tissues with the most favourable nutritional environment so that they can become resistant to disease and overcome any health condition.

Anjalie’s Nutrition Plan is both a preventive measure and also a treatment of disease. According to Hippocrates, nutrition first, then drugs, then surgery. Unfortunately we have forgotten this and apply the reverse. Pathological conditions of many kinds may have and probably do have roots directly related to cellular nutrition. Periods of stress, exposure to environmental pollutants, ill health or individual’s metabolism may increase the nutritional requirements for the individual. Anjalie’s treatment plan includes patient’s education in the matter of nutrition and recommending suitable life-style changes.

Homeopathy
In conventional medicine, the symptoms are considered to be a manifestation of the disease. The drugs are given to kill the bacteria causing it or to dampen the symptom of the condition. Homeopaths, on the other hand, see the symptoms as the body's attempt to heal itself. They see the symptom as a positive sign that the body's defense mechanism is trying to fight the underlying cause and by this reasoning, they insist that the symptoms should not be suppressed as we are working against the body's attempt to cure it. The principle that like shall be cured by like, or Similia similibus curantur. This principle, recognized by physicians and philosophers since ancient times, became the basis of Hahnemann's formulation of the homeopathic doctrine: the proper remedy for a patient's disease is that substance that is capable of producing, in a healthy person, symptoms similar to those from which the patient suffers. A homeopath studies the whole person. Characteristics such as their temperament, personality, emotional and physical responses etc. are studied when prescribing a remedy. So, a homeopath may treat different persons exhibiting the same symptom differently. There are three laws of cure. They are:

  • A remedy starts at the top of the body and works downward

  • A remedy works from within the body outward, and from major to minor organs

  • Symptoms clear in reverse order of appearance.

Application of the three principles of cure means that you will feel better emotionally before you will feel better physically.

Bach Flower Remedies
They are simple and natural method of healing through the use of certain wild flowers. The remedies, which treat the emotional imbalance of patients rather than the individual physical condition, were discovered in the 1930s by Dr Edward Bach. After many years of practice in allopathic medicine and homoeopathy, Dr Bach was led to the realization that what characterized the physical disorders of different people were not so much the many categories of disease but the psychological conditions that generate them.

Iridology
iridologyThis is a technique wherein patterns, colours, and other characteristics of the iris can be examined to determine information about a patient's systemic health. The eyes are seen as "windows" into the body's state of health. Iridology uses the corresponding charts to highlight certain systems and organs in the body as healthy and others as overactive, inflamed, or distressed. Iridology is primarily used as a diagnostic tool. As it is not a method of treatment. Iridology is non-invasive.

yoga Yoga with Anjalie – Gentle & Relaxing
Yoga is a powerful antidote to the stresses of modern-day life and a life-style for personal development. It promotes total physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Anjalie has been practicing yoga for last twenty five years and has learned her skills from many schools including Iyengar tradition. She has learned pranayama and meditation from Masters in India. Anjalie has been conducting Yoga Classes in Sydney for past eight years and hundreds of participants have benefited by attending her classes.

Anjalie’s yoga sessions are not for the body alone. Looking after the body alone is like trying to shine the car while the engine is making noise and emitting smoke. Anjalie’s unique style blends the principles of good physical, mental and spiritual health. Her compassionate approach has immensely benefited her students in dealing with their physical and emotional problems.

Each Yoga session has Pranayama (scientific breathing techniques), Yoga-Aasanas (postures as means to body-mind integration) and Relaxation. The weekly session runs for 60 minutes and the courses are scheduled in batches of 10 weeks. Beginners are most welcome.

Relaxation Therapy
A combination of Yoga, Scientific 3D Energy Management (mind-body-intellect) and Meditation is used as treatment. Generally people resort to some activities as a means to relaxation. Any action results into a re-action and not relaxation. Anjalie teaches her patients how to let go and how to fall into relaxation, like we fall into sleep. Scientific breathing is the skill to maximize intake of oxygen by conscious use of all of our respiratory organs and maximizing supply of oxygen to all cells in our body thus making oneself full of energy which results into a positive frame of mind and thus a relaxed attitude towards all the happenings around us. You need to experience it.
